Arctic Air Personal Space Cooler Review
The Arctic Air personal cooler is simply a mini USB portable air conditioner. This was advertised on TV and has gone on to make a lot of sales. The beauty of this one is that it quite literally can be used almost anywhere.
It can be plugged into a wall outlet or into any device where you have a USB port, and that does make it unique. It measures only 6.5”X 6.5”X 6.7 so if you are pushed for space on a desk, a bedroom locker or even at your work desk, then this Arctic Air cooler is well worth your consideration.
This cooler comes with a water tank that you simply fill up with water. You can then plug it into a USB port or a power bank, and the three speed fan will start to blow. With the tank filled with water, it will last for 8 hours, on the lowest setting.
Who Would Buy the Arctic Air Personal Space Cooler?
We are tempting to say anyone can buy this as it is a versatile type of product. In our opinion this one works well as a replacement for a desk fan, a bedroom fan and even an office fan.
It is really for anyone who wants to cool a personal space. It isn't powerful enough to cool down a room or any space with a larger size, but it is great for cooling down a personal space.
It's ideal for a bedroom to help keep you cool. It also comes with a night light with 7 color options. One of our guys here at our website uses this in his workshop during the summer, just to keep himself cool when working on his projects.
This air cooler is also a good choice for anyone who travels and likes to stay cool. As it is small and portable it is easy to carry this around, as long as you have access to a USB connection, or have a power bank.
This is a simple cube with soft lighting, that is quiet and does a good job.
Wet filter technology
As we mentioned earlier this air cooler uses water in the tank. It draws in the hot air in your personal space, and then passes it through the wet filter on the tank. When it comes out the other side of the filter, it is cool and refreshing air. As it passes through a filter the air is also purified, and that makes it healthier to breathe.

What Buyers say About the Arctic Cooler
There are plenty of buyers for this interesting "As seen on TV" product. Many of those TV products we don't like, but this one is actually pretty good. Here at "The Icy Spot" we think it is over priced and would sell much better at around $20.
Just below we have summarised what buyers have to say about this personal cooler. Quite a few buyers did say that it doesn't cool a room. To be fair to the manufacturer they do not claim that it does that.
This cooler is simply about cooling a personal space such as your office desk, or to be set on a nightstand when you are going to sleep.
- The breeze it creates is very good and it is according to buyers quiet enough.
- There is always noise with fans, but this one is pretty good
- It will work well at cooling down a personal space
- One of the negatives is that the LED is only on one side and some buyers didn't like that.
- A few buyers also thought that the price point was a little too high
- You need to empty the water out before moving it around otherwise it will spill out if tipped to the side
Our Verdict on the Arctic Air
We have rated this with an 80% buyer satisfaction rate. Had it been cheaper (around $20) we would have had this at around 90%.
It is light, portable and very easy to use. It also does a really good job at cooling a small personal space, and it does help purify the air.
Ideally we would have liked to see an LED light option on both sides of the cube. We also think they could have improved the way the water gets spilled if moved.
It does however do what it is supposed to do, and for under $40, that is a reasonable price point, without being exceptional. There are plenty of personal fans out there, and this one is better as it can be plugged into the wall and also via a USB.
As long as you understand that this is a personal space cooler, then you will not be disappointed. This is not made to cool down a room, an RV or a large space. It is, as the name would suggest a personal space cooler.
It does a good job of that, and the night light makes it a good choice for the bedroom.
